Wolfgang Voigt has composed a stunning, abstract and ambient-infused piece to celebrate the opening of the German national park Hunsrück-Hochwald. Clocking in at just over an hour long, this work-of-art was designed to be part of a sound installation as the soundscape filled the wilderness of Hunsrück-Hochwald, using a series of loudspeakers allocated in the natural environment. Rückverzauberung 10 / Nationalpark is a freeform improvisation filled with strings and wind, processed with electronic means. The rather elegiac billows of sound flow into each other and part again, like a musical early morning fog in an enchanted forrest.
