After dropping the incredible full length Instant Broadcast on Delsin back in 2014, Italian producer Herva lands on London imprint Don’t Be Afraid with the Dreamers Of Unknown Tales EP. Leading off with the warm ambient glow of the title cut, the piece quickly shifts to the opposite end of the spectrum with a mutated onslaught of offbeat features on ‘From The Inside’. On the flip, ‘Nice And Crisp’ is a masterstroke, generating a mass of anticipation from looping vocals and swirling textures before erupting into the kind of groove that’ll set the ‘floor alight, whereas ‘Pissed Monitoring’ is a scratchy, claustrophobic jaunt of future-facing bubbling acid-techno.
