Bleep

Integral member of the Radiophonic Workshop, Paddy Kingsland gets the reissue service for his 1973 album Fourth Dimension LP. While the original record was credited to the whole Workshop, the work was Paddy’s and it features theme tunes that were used by a number of BBC radio and TV stations. From the melodic synth exploration of Reg (a cut used as the B-Side for the Doctor Who theme) to the theatrical bleep-heavy arpeggiations of Kaleidoscope for Radio 4. This texturally rich and compositionally ambitious LP is testament to the ever-forward-thinking ethos of the Workshop.
