Emika returns for her second full-length of the year Drei, her fourth studio album that follows on from two full-length offerings for Ninja Tune and this year's Klavirini LP. This release also marks her third release on her own imprint, which she started after leaving Ninja Tune. On Drei, Emika moves away from the collective series of piano compositions seen on Klavirini and back into her signature eclectic, vocal-laden territory. This LP revolves around the theme of freedom – insecurities, ambitions, shock and the madness of being alone. A massively fresh sounding full-length from start to finish.
