French electronic music producer Agoria aka Sébastien Devaud makes his debut on the Cologne-based Kompakt records. Agoria’s recent releases have come out on labels such as Hotflush recordings and Infiné (the label he cofounded in 2006), as well as having mixes for Resident Adviser and Fabric under his belt. Baptême is a smooth sounding, dub-infused minimalist techno, glazed in synths and rolling hi-hats with the B-side’s Lucky Blue Eyes version adding a deep house feel to the mix.
