Following their recent Livesafer Compilation 2, Frankfurt label Live At Robert Johnson present a two track extension of the collection featuring Gerd Janson’s and Philip Lauer’s Tuff City Kids project as well as the latter’s undertaking with his brother Jacob, Hotel Lauer. With Wooden Dreams, Tuff City Kids serve up a melodic dance floor anthem by the books; the ultra-infectious synth motif undergoes a classic, yet all-the more effective house beat dramaturgy. Over the course of their Overdose Mix of Shank, Hotel Lauer embed their fourth style main pattern in their growing tracks of percussive elements, condensed to the maximum.
