Gospel house pioneer Terrence Parker returns with yet another hit 12’’ on his own Parker Music Works imprint. The Detroit legend presents two versions of his ‘I Should Have Seen It Coming’ single - his Life After 95 Remix takes up the classic house music speed at around 120 bpm, and works with a funky bass, the characteristic jamming piano chords, ambient synth textures and of course Simone Cayce’s melismatic soul vocals. The Ambient Mix is a beatless offering, slowing things down by 25 bpm, and stars the longing sound of a saxophone, all the more underlining the song’s emotional power.
