Tokyo experimental trio Nisennenmondai deliver their offering for the 'Live at Clouds Hill' series, made up of live recordings taken from during a live performance in front of a small audience at the Clouds Hill Recordings Studio. The immediacy of their pulsating arrangements stems from their band set-up with which they have been impressing live audiences for almost a decade now. With Yuri Zaikawa on rhythm-like bass, Sayaka Himeno on textural, meticulously consistent drums, and Masako Takada on clanging guitar, the female group produce machine-like creatures, deprived of any melodies and alienated from almost any humanness.
