Elusive UK producer Nomine returns to Tempa with his fifth outing for the London dubstep label. This time, Nomine mostly stays under his usual 140 bpm. The title track makes do with sampling a conversation between an old man and a boy over water effects and single layered guitar and piano notes. Although Blind Man feels like his most minimal release to date, there are still elements that have so far constituted his style: vocalist Iustina lends her voice to an almost medieval melody on ‘To The Sky’, the combination of her melismatic singing and the sparse percussion evokes associations with the Asian continent.
