The RVNG Intl sister project FRKWYS brings this beautifully spiritual collaboration to the collection for Volume. 12. Recorded in Australia, this release sees the French-born musician Ariel Kalma collaborate with Robert Aiki Aubery Lowe aka Lichens for a hypnotic collection of droning synths and eastern vocals. ‘Magick Creek’ starts the release off with nature’s sound of running water, birds and a didgeridoo intertwining with oscillating synth tones and horns, whilst ‘Mille Voix’ features some astounding vocal chants and calm lush textual tones. A super nice release that is both powerful and meditative.
