DJ/producer/chef Yu Su is back on the Short Span label for her sophomore LP entitled Foundry. Crafted from material she developed for a special live set at 2025’s MUTEK festival, the music of Foundry balances the skyward thrust of her high-energy DJ sets with the rich and placid sound design of classic ambient and dub techno. Collaborations with Dip In The Pool, Memotone, and Warp's very own Seefeel ensure her proof of purpose here, but its solo numbers like propulsive (yet nearly drumless) ‘Os Cionn’ that really show off the depths of this new era.
