The Manchester-residing synth pop artist Jane Weaver releases a 7” single with a track taken from 2014’s Jane’s The Silver Globe LP. With 6 albums under her belt, the producer and founder of the Bird Records imprint brings to pop a retro, psychedelic tone. ‘Don’t Take My Soul’, which was co-produced by Andy Votel, is smothered in dreamy falsetto vocals, futurist synth tones and steady guitar ditties. The B-side sees label partner Laura Bryon aka Tender Prey storm in with punk-style vocals, drums and guitars in her track ‘Undisputed Heavyweight Champion Of My Heart’ taken from the forthcoming Organ Calzone cassette set to be release later this year.
