Bulgarian producer Strahil Velchev aka KiNK makes his first appearance on Gerd Janson’s running back imprint. His discography of more than two dozen entries proves Velchev has always been an analogue lover since his start almost a decade ago, and the Cloud Generator EP displays his unabated enthusiasm for hardware gear. Quite openly, that is: the title references the equipment that inspired the EP. The swarming sine wave sounds of the E340 Cloud Generator form the chore of Velvech’s riff-driven arrangements and glistening arpeggios, bursting out in all of their buzzing density.
