Comprised of JT The Goon, Boylan and Dullah Beatz, Edgem is a supergroup of grime aficionados who have all brought their own twists to the genre’s age-old tropes via solo efforts. Together, they create a more futuristic interpretation of the shape the sound could take. From the freestyle-friendly ferocity of Matrix to the more dramatic bass-heavy throb of Toxic Audio, it is clear why stations like 1Xtra and Rinse have caught on to the sounds of this collective. A UK-centric hybrid of sounds that takes the blueprints of grime and reshapes them in to fresh forms.
