After a more than successful 2014, Bristol’s Nick Edwards revisits his Ekoplekz moniker to present us two epic new cuts on Mike Paradinas' Planet Mu imprint. With last years’ two full-lengths for the label exhausting its experimental spirit, Entropic EP has no intention of taking a different turn. ‘Flash’ welcomes us into the lively inward of a breathing musical organism, fuelled by its pumping analogue heart. As we travel through the tubular canals, the continuous beat shifts in and out of focus, bit by bit revealing its highly processed nature. ‘Symphony’ swaps the drony undertones for wave-shaped, glistening arpeggios which Edwards shows no mercy, as they get swallowed by an avalanche of white noise, masking their very existence.
