San Francisco’s Vin Sol joins Clone’s legend-accumulating Jack For Daze series with a 909 joy ride of Chicago-styled house jams. Following releases on his own local Soo Wavey imprint and DJ Haus’ Unknown To The Unknown, Off The Chain showcases Vin Sol’s love for hardware. In its purely mechanical nature, the EP makes no secret of its clear floor focus. The title track chops up ghetto vocals, which are pierced by poignant percussion.
