Originally released in 1999 Steps To Recovery is four deep house cuts from Micronism for Delsin, recalling that recent Schinichi Atobe LP for DDS or the more dancefloor focused transitions of Mark Fell. These tracks are firmly eyeing the floor with expertly placed deep house bass ripples and stark beat patterns ricocheting off of razor-sharp synth lines. The quiet mind manages to perfectly juxtapose an unforgiving and visceral kick with a more cloudy – almost ambient – synth line. While they might outdate the millennium dome, these songs are by no means obsolete when it comes to the floor.
