Fiedel and Tallmen 785 drop a 12” of serious techno minimalism for Fiedel’s Fiedel Two imprint, remixing each other’s work to devastating effect. A-side ‘Down’ is given a rubbery tech-funk makeover by Fiedel, it’s repeated mantra of ‘I break it down’ mixing and mingling with the driving groove until the words start to become distinct instruments of their own. On the B-side Tallmen 785 reinterprets ‘Back Door’ as a smooth, relentless house cut, before Fiedel unleashes the industrial madness of the original in all its cavernous, stomping glory.
