If you missed the quick white label test presses from Lobster Theremin, fear not, the London imprint deliver the full release of Raw M.T’s incredible debut via their Mörk sub imprint. Here, the Italian producer opens with some dusty, low-slung house textures on the title cut ‘La Duna’, keeping the groove alive with a kicking drum set and subtle melodic touches whereas the following ‘Untitled’ cut drifts into dreamier realms, allowing steady tribal drums and narcotised vocals to develop a loose swing. On the B-side, the tempo lifts for the pounding, arpeggiated antics of ‘Strike’, which looks set to become a staple for any selector in the know.
