Recorded during rehearsal sessions in 2008 and 2012, Recount is a stunningly impressive production running down the live performance side of, Norwegian duo Erik Skodvin and Otto Totland, Deaf Centre. Follow Still, recorded in Berlin in 2012, delivers 13 minutes of melancholic resonance recounting back on the recent past. Oblivion, recorded in Oslo in 2008, recounts back on a further past of live sets following their debut album, Pale Ravine. On this track they offer up a dramatic combination of orchestral arrangements and spooky field recordings to create deep textures that are absorbing and emotionally rich.
