After developing a strong following from a trilogy of underground mix tapes, anonymous LA duo 18+ land on Fabric’s label arm Houndstooth with the Dry / Body EP. The duo’s unique sound sits somewhere between nonchalant R&B and distilled, moody hip-hop production. Dry pays homage to trap, slinging in innuendos which are strung together with coded lyrics, whilst in the background guns cock and chants can be heard. On the flip, things get woozy with a distinct feeling of disorientation.
