Wiley moves his big room grime collab 'From The Outside' to new territory with Actress's South London deconstruction, removing the elements of the original's string-laden tale of escaping a system of high-gloss beaches and going back underground, Actress creates a sinister sci-fi narrative echoing his Ghettoville opus. Snatches of vocal appear through the gloom like the alien transmissions of some far-off pirate radio station broadcasting Neuromancer's Wintermute dub while fizzing synths cascade in a greyscale psychedelic city that once you enter, it's hard to escape.
