As an offshoot of the standard Late Night Tales series, Tom Findlay of Groove Armada put together this pleasure-seeking selection of prime pop cuts from the 70s and 80s. Evoking images of Californian coastlines and mojitos at dusk, this rundown includes unabashed anthems from ELO, Hall and Oates, Toto and 10cc to name a few. There is also a cover of Exclusive Ace’s How Long courtesy of SugarDaddy (Findlay’s collaborative project with Tim Hutton). This edition of Late Night Tales comes with track-by-track notes from esteemed dance music journalist and commentator Bill Brewster.
