Before their stunning 2025 comeback with Let God Sort Em Out, the last we’d truly heard from Clipse was sixteen years earlier on Til The Casket Drops, their final album before a split that shook the rap game. Pusha T and Malice combined real topics with tongue in cheek flair over neopsych and funk shreds and buzzing production handled by The Neptunes, adding colour and bounce to the hardcore palette of the late 2000s. From imposing raps with hyperconfident lyrics to infectious harmonising hooks, Til The Casket Drops was lasting evidence of Clipse’s vital presence on the scene.
