As the NSFW alias might suggest, this material is weighty and unforgiving with footwork and juke blueprints rattling against drill rap samples. Cuts like Hater Hymn and Twenty Too are bass weight monsters where the vocals add a bombast and grandeur to the bullheaded production. Even when the en-vogue sound of auto-tuned rap warbling appears on LA-VA-NY-TO, it’s the production that comes out on top. This is club music with fangs- unrelenting, slightly unhinged and totally invigorating.
