Following the release of their debut last year, Secretly Canadian presents an EP with five reworks for London quartet Woman’s Hour. Stepping up first are fellow London duo Krankbrother with their shiny house remix of ‘Conversations’, whereas Fort Romeau’s take on the track aligns with his indietronic approach. Richard Formby, acclaimed for his production work for artists such as Darkstar, Egyptian Hip Hop and Wild Beast, shows his dreamy version of ‘Our Love Has No Rhythm’ – letting oscillating synth arpeggios take over the lead, and stripping down the vocals to a mere distant breeze. Falty DL opts for a 303 inspired style and sharp percussion with unexpected twists, and lastly, Friendly Fires’ Jack Savage brings some disco to the mix.
