A whole album of new banging electro material from legendary 80s producer Danny Bosten aka Das Ding. Marking the launch of Spacemaker and Leather E’s Rotterdam imprint Electronic Emergencies, Why Is My Life So Boring accrues from Bosten’s resurrection initiated with the release of H.S.T.A. on Minimal Wave in 2008. The Dutch producer throws in a good portion of thickened wave sound with ‘Emotional Firewall’ and ‘Want Need’. Its kitsch is counterbalanced with more prominent 80s drum machines (‘Zombie Botnet’), choral synths (‘Billionaire Space Tourist’) and hilarious robotic vocoder experiments on catchy choruses (‘ModStim’).
