New Jersey producer and serial genre-hopper Daniel Fisher, aka Physical Therapy, continues his tour of contemporary electronic labels with the Waiting Room In DJ Hell EP for Unknown To The Unknown. Bringing a formidable reputation for bending a dizzying array of musical styles to his will, Fisher does not disappoint here with four tracks that veer from the high-octane minimalist techno of opener ‘C’mere’, through dark, glitchy house on ‘The Black Night Is Calling My Name’ and ‘The Waiting Room In DJ Hell’, before dropping into a raw, infectious electro-funk groove for closer ‘Giving Me Life’. There’s a lot of variety in this release, but Fisher has the confidence and the skill to pull it all off with style.
