Coming through with his first official release since 2007’s All In, Rachanee marks the welcome return of Kompakt pioneer Reinhard Voigt with this double header of minimalist funk and novel production. The titular track is a 7 minute opus of sprawling vocal snippets and shapeshifting dance blueprints. Then there’s the alluring bass drive of Tisch für Zwei where a siren blast-off marks the start of a seriously addictive techno excursion built for the early hours. A welcome return that most certainly won’t disappoint.
