Untold cements his newly minted Hemlock Black imprint, designed to release futuristic physical cuts for the clubs. This slick two tracker of FWD facing grime via techno club constructions is a killer start to the label. 'Doff' starts things off with a shuffling snare and psychedelic synth licks before a hard as nails bass line rears its head and the rapid fire snares roll through coming on strong and sounding like the industrial cousin of recent Demdike experiments in E3. On the flip 'Phive' is a bass heavy dub roller kicking off with a (black light) spiral of synths before the percussion swings into view and Tubby guitar licks over take, things then spin into oblivion with the breakdown before surfacing with an off kilter sci fi kick to roll it out. 'Doff' is a fine balance between his earlier releases ala 'Anaconda' and the recent techno explorations he has been sculpting via releases on Hemlock and Bleep.
