UK heavyweight Roska finds his way back onto Pinch’s Tectonic label with the Hyperion EP. Across the three cuts, Roska rolls out typically weighty constructions underpinned by darker textures and subtle tribal touches; beginning with the throbbing, 4/4 driven title cut, followed by the roughshod swing and cut-up drums of ‘Off’ before finally settling on the more melodic, electro-indebted affair of ‘Only Human’.
