Wearing the unmistakable sonic tropes of its Berlin proudly, Der Dritte Raum, led by Andreas Krüger is a barefaced club-focused record custom made for the eulogised nightspots of the German capital. Darting between hardware-based hooks and warped vocals, cuts like Ratz Fatz and Dr. Zinnowitz are infectiously party starting. The multi-dimensional approach that the collective take to the production and refinement of club music is what makes the record so absorbing. For all it’s shameless fist-pump moments, the production is of an incredibly high standard and the twisted grooves which power the songs are just as gripping as they are hedonistically-friendly.
