Frankfurt’s electronic music patron Uwe Schmidt has released music under 60 different monikers, but his Atom TM project is one of his best known to date. In 2013, Schmidt launched his AtomTM_Audio_Archiv label to bring together the more than 200 compositions he’s done since 1990. Next up is his 2009 album Muster, which - following his highly praised album Liedgut for Raster - saw the producer return to his own imprint Rather Interesting. The 50-minute one-track album is a mosaic of delicate glitches and rhythmic explorations, presenting Schmidt as the advocate of free structures and experimental arrangements that he is known and admired for.
