Clark follows up his recent self-titled full-length with a couple of reworks from two techno masterminds. Taking on the album’s grande ‘Sodium Trimmers’ is Berlin producer Marcel Dettmann: he rewires the original with pure stomping rawness, installing a shuffling beat, naturally stripping back some synth tracks and deforming its remains. R&S wunderkind Pariah presents his agitated edit of ‘Banjo’, its staccato synths twitch nervously, and further fragmentation and distortion load it with frightening suspense.
