Californian electronica powerhouse are marking their 300th release with this LP from Philadelphia experimentalist Noah Anthony aka Profligate. Combining techno blueprints and punk sentiments, this sophomore offering is the perfect soundtrack to the abattoir and the dancefloor. The wiry crunch of the titular track embodies this perfectly, as does the unforgiving caustic clatter of - aptly titled - Can’t Stop Shaking. While this LP is a landmark for a deservedly celebrated imprint, it is a hugely cohesive full length that successfully melds frenzied metallic techno with jagged, swollen beats.
