Dusk + Blackdown’s Keysound celebrates its 50th release with a new compilation. Following last year’s collection This Is How We Roll, Certified Connections features 14 exclusive tracks from their impressive artist roster. The label bosses share the bill with grime 2.0 wunderkind Logos who presents one of his spacious arrangements. E.m.m.a.’s and Murlo’s contributions embody the more colourful, melodious side of the label whereas the bassy and highly percussive works of Aphix, Caski and Etch operate at dizzying 130 bpm. Certified Connections is another timely round up of the ever-evolving UK grime, dubstep and bass movement – and highlights Keysound’s important role in its progressive developments.
