Taking a break from his own Cultivated Electronics label, Sync 24 aka Phil Cultivated has gone back to the bare bones for this release. This is a 4-track exercise on genre-busting electronica that organises it’s components neatly and deploys them with unparalleled control. Battery is a perfect example of this absolutist approach. Territorial in it’s structure but experimental in the results, Twilight Zones is a masterclass in electronica that flirts with the floor but stays just off centre.
