Clone’s sub label Royal Oak welcomes back Swiss producer Raphael Ripperton, presenting new material from his Headless Ghost project. Following last year’s Frontend EP, Swept Illusions comes with two colourful remixes from both Genius of Time members Dorisburg and Arkajo. The original sees Headless Ghost work with jamming piano chords, beady synth arpeggios and shaking percussion. Dorisburg travels south, introducing vocal snaps, cowbells and bongos, whereas fellow Berlin producer Arkajo attempts a rather atmospheric version with floating synths and thick bass rewiring.
