Pedestrian & Jasperdrum return to 2nd Drop Records with some more swinging, African-dub flavours. Off first, ‘Origins’ brings a lofty flute sample and riotous hand drums before settling into a deadly groove underpinned by quaking sub-bass and ricocheting tribal chants. On the flip, Shogun Audio affiliate Alix Perez has a turn on previous hit ‘Kalakuta’, reducing the original down to a seriously heavy, dub-strong, 2-step roller.
