Having built up a reputation for swollen, misshapen techno, Portuguese producer IVVO has now turned in a 7 track EP for Aïsha Devi's recently launched Danse Noire imprint. Theories of Anxiety finds the perfect balance between adventurous (and often fairly abrasive) sounds and a floor-friendly syncopations. So Much is a Drake-sampling cacophony which eventually finds its feet and plays host to a heady kick pulse. Fear treads a similar path, a vortex of synthesised energy which steadily takes shape.
