Former Emeralds guitarist Mark McGuire presents the Noctilucence EP on Indiana and Texas-based label Dead Oceans. Recorded between LA, California, and Cleveland, Ohio, the five-track release imagines the night sky as a journey or passage way and crosses through it with beautiful guitar imagery. The 12-minute title track, a throbbing pulse of electronic energy, evokes the spirit of Tangerine Dream while traversing new territory. A manifold exploration of time and spice, as its title suggests this one is for late night introspection and wonder.
