New York veteran Anthony Parasole steps outside the comfort of his own The Corner label for a three-track release on Berghain's Ostgut Ton imprint. 'My Block' is a searing barrage of thundering beats and high-pitched synth riffs, hypnotic in its incessant repetition, pulverising in its weightlessness. 'Bizarre' is a heavier proposition, sirens and cavernous kicks meeting delicate melodies. 'Typhoon' has fun with the template, blending EQed tribal percussion with the stomping bass kicks of earlier tracks. A success for both parties.
