Manchester-based LoneLady, also known as Julie Ann Campbell, drops her latest single on Warp. Having spent some time contributing guitar and vocals for other artists, she returns with her first solo material since her debut album Nerve Up in 2010. 'Groove It Out' evokes the funk of ESG and builds on that danceable energy with a frivolous pop sensibility. She's given the track a special 'Michigan' dub, and electronic experimentalist Ekoplekz gives the track a rerub.
