Reissue label Medical Records present a comprehensive retrospective on Fullerton’s new wave outfit Null And Void. The Happiness and Contempt B/W Montage Morte collection contains both their respective 1980 and 1982 albums in their entireties, remastered by Martin Bowes at the Cage in London. Null And Void recently resurfaced with a third full-length in 2012, but came to recognition with their unique fusion of bizarre punk choruses with 80s synthesizer aesthetics on these two albums four decades ago. An essential listen for anyone interested in early new wave and (post)-punk.
