Berlin-based UK techno producer Bnjmn makes his debut on Amsterdam’s Delsin Records. Previous releases for labels such as Rush Hour and Technicolour have set the tone of his unflinching sound aesthetic. Coil resumes with trippy synth sequences, detailed percussion and a clear focus on diverse texture, honouring the “experimental” reputation Bnjmn has built for himself. Soughing ambience sounds occupy the space on the majority of the tracks, counteracted by trance-like loops and pierced by merciless percussive elements like ‘Coil’s’ sub-heavy kicks or ‘And Suddenly’s’ muffled claps.
