J-Cush's Lit City Trax debuts Norwegian producer Drippin, aka Erik Spanne. Following production work for exuberant rapper Le1f, Drippin drops the Silver Cloak EP. Brimming with metallic percussion and eastern melodies, this seven-track release is an exciting prospect. The title track pits slamming percussive drops that fall like quick fired factory line equipment against emotive melodies and distorted woos. Waterfall balances light and dark, while Air Jordans is as explosive and jumpy as one might expect from a track named after the perennial favourite brand of footwear.
