Bleep

Originally composed to accompany an art installation of the same name, the Nimbes EP on Subtext is a project from Empty Set’s James Ginzburg and Berlin-based sound artist Yair Elazar Glotman. The title piece was exhibited in the colossal 360-degree dome at Montreal's Société des Arts Technologiques and is a chilling medley of ritualistic cello play and dark drone. Yair Elazar Glotman’s solo ‘Ember Mix’ smoothes the piece out into a continuous, slowly developing drone that progresses into something quiet visceral and overwhelming whereas Eric Holm’s ‘10/50 Mix’ creates more on a desolate sonic expanse.
