Will Bankhead welcomes back New York techno producer Marcos Cabral on his The Trilogy Tapes imprint. Following his sharp Schrade Knives EP for the label this year, Snake Inside My Leg puts as much emphasis on diverse textures as before. Maxing out the sidechaining effects, the title track immerses us in more than ten minutes of eager repetition with its overdriven kick drums and processed hi-hats hissing at the beat. On the B-side, ‘Yang Solution’ rustles and shreds its sound surfaces with a saxophone-like staccato lead.
