Australian guitarist and percussionist Oren Ambarchi assembles a wealth of talent for his latest work, the Quixotism album for Editions Mego. An album in five parts, it was recorded over two years across the globe and features the guest work of Thomas Brinkmann, Jim O' Rourke and Ilan Volkov & the Icelandic Symphony Orchestra among others. Droning rock sounds, pulsating electronics and acoustic pulses abound, a seductive variety of sounds and influences coming together under this master composer Ambarchi's singular vision.
