Dutch electronic label Dekmantel welcome back Italian producer duo Rio Padice and Massimo Di Lena: as Mephisto Frequency Oscillators, they resume their Future City Traffic EP. The second part of the series sees them continue with their muffled house aesthetic, yet adding a few funkier elements to the mix. As seen in the opener ‘Motor’ that sets the tone with its hinted bassy disco melodies. ‘Oman Jazz’ then again bridges the release with part one of the sequence – its low-frequency pounding ever subdued by dreamy synth work which takes off into truly cosmic realms on ‘Design The Future’.
